Details

The house has many influences and has been decorated by many artists, making the villa a real creative and unique project. It is therefore frequented by artists, singers, actors, writers, celebrities of all kind in search of charm and originality.

Inside

The property’s organic materials, warm earthy colours and it’s water cascades all contribute to the feeling of being at one with nature however this doesn’t compromise a high level modern comfort: the African Queen is fully equipped whilst being completely unique. All living areas have internet, air conditioning, and there is a sound system and ipod dock.

Bedrooms

4 bedrooms in total.
Each ensuite bedroom as its own bathroom and private terrace. Extra beds can be rented.

Outside

The amazing focal point of the property is its 90ft long free form rock edged pool that links the living areas to the guest cottage which is also he largest private pool on the island. There are plenty of outdoor seating areas where guests can lounge or dine.

Location

African Queen is situated on the north-east corner of St.Barthelemy, within strolling distance of the bay of Grand Cul de Sac.

Daily cleaning, housekeeping and gardening included (except on Sundays).

Things to Do

Situated in a location where there is a range of water sport facilities including scuba diving, jet skiing,windsurfing and a school for kite surfing. There is also a small restaurant/bar on the beach where you can relax and watch the action.

The next bay to the west is Marigot which is a natural reserve and a wonderful place for snorkelling.

To the east there is another natural reserve at Petit Cul de Sac and further round to the south east you will find Grand Fond which is known as the wild side of St Barthelemy and which attracts the surfers.

Back on solid ground, again within strolling distance, there is the Flamands Tennis club and a golf driving range on the edge of the lagoon.
