There is a total of five Courtyard Suites available. Guests can enjoy the comfort of the spacious lounge and cocktail bar. The property also features a theatre room.

Bedrooms

The double/twin bedrooms have a contemporary feel enjoying en suite bathroom and zipper king beds.

Outside

The property enjoys private manicured grounds, while each suite enjoys a private courtyard with daybed, table, chairs and umbrella.

Location

Air

Air transfers are available from Cairns by light aircraft. Flight time is approximately 40 minutes from Cairns airport to Crystalbrook airstrip.

Helicopter options from both Cairns and Port Douglas are also available.

Road

Amber Lodge is 180 kms west of Cairns. Drive time is approximately 3 hours from Cairns or Port Douglas. Parts of the road are unsealed. Luxury 4wd vehicle transfers can be arranged.

Staff & Dining

The property enjoys an open bar home to a range of boutique Australian wines. 24/7 tea and Nespresso bar including snacks is also available

Things to Do

Enjoy afternoon tea at the Crystal Station homestead and cattle yards.

Wander the many bush trails for a walk with nature – great for bird watchers, you’ll often spot kangaroos, goannas or maybe a herd of wild brummies.

Visits to Chillagoe Caves and Local Chillagoe Pub can be arranged.

Flick through the day’s photos with loved ones in the theatre room. Enjoy cocktails in the cocktail bar. Guests can relax poolside or explore and enjoy activities such as kayaking on the lake.

There is also a helicopter onsite and other off site activities to be enjoyed.
