The house dates back to the 1500’s, originally forming a monastery and is set within a 2000 acre private estate of pasture, woodland and farmland.


The house is decorated in a classical and unique manner and has three sitting rooms, a grand entertaining room and a billiard room. The house also features a cinema room, kitchen, a dining room and a medieval banquet hall, which sits 22 people.


There are ten bedrooms (8 en suite).


The house enjoys stunning views over a 200 acre wood and features a walled garden which was re-designed by Gertrude Jekyll. Adjacent to the house is a large entertaining lawn, a bbq terrace and a jacuzzi. The lower garden enjoys a large pond and tennis court.


Situated five miles away from Cirencester.

The house features a full time chef, housekeeper and daily cleaner. All meals are conducted to excellent standard and menus can be submitted on request.

Things to Do

Cirencester is a lovely place to visit and has museums, historic churches and plenty of parks to wander round. Cheltenham is nearby and is great for shopping and days out. Coombe End is also perfect for enjoying local events such as the Cheltenham Races and the Badminton Horse Trials.
