Whilst the oldest part of the house dates back to the 15th century, the main wings were completed at the end of the 17th century.  Located in the heart of the Cotswolds this property sits at the centre of a 300 acre deer park complete with a series of 4 fishing lakes and has breathtaking views.

The ground floor comprises large kitchen, dining room which can seat up to 40, Stone Hall, Birdcage Hall, drawing room, library, a study, a second smaller dining room and kitchen, play room and wash room, boot room, gun room.

There are 8 major bedrooms, each with 4 poster beds, 2 twin rooms and a further 6 single rooms on the first floor along with 10 bathrooms.

Outside

Sitting at the centre of a 300 acre deer park and at the heart of a 5500 acre estate, there is a large garden, tennis court, glorious outdoor heated pool, tree house. Access to the 4 fishing lakes in the park with boating, barbecuing and fishing possibilities and with clay pigeon shooting, deer stalking and pheasant shooting available on request.

The 16th century historic market town of Burford (15 minutes away) is voted in the ‘Top 10 Best Places in the World to Live’ by Conde Nast Traveller magazine and is idyllic to go to for tea, shopping or just a visit. Oxford, (30 minutes away) The City of Dreaming Spires, is famous worldwide for its University and place in history. A bustling cosmopolitan town with its mix of ancient and modern. The world heritage site Blenheim Palace (15 minutes away) is just outside of Oxford and makes for a great day out with its historic architecture, house tours and beautiful gardens and grounds and lots of activities for the children.

Burford Wildlife Park is a fantastic day outing for children.

Warwick Castle has many activities for children.
