Today, although the original two-foot thick rough stone walls and gun slots are still in place, it is a paradigm of 21st Century laid-back elegance. With no expense spared, the owners introduced Italian travertine floors, chic and comfortable sitting areas in crisp white fabrics. Floor-to-ceiling bookcases divide the ground floor into two sections: one, an elegant dining space and the other, a comfy living room, television, music and games area.

6 stunning modern bedrooms, all air-conditioned. Large plasma TV in the master bedroom, flat screen TV in each bedroom with all new bathrooms and glass-wall showers.

The adjoining 80-foot veranda is the gathering area for drinks, hors doeuvres and al fresco dining as the sun sets over the sea. A golf course is a 15 minutes drive away. Guests can also enjoy the shared tennis court only a 5 minutes walk away. An 8 person hot tub is available to use whilst looking over the sea, and the garden is lush and tropical.
