The living space in the main house runs the length of the building, from the grandeur of the salle des fetes and the intimacy of the bar, to the twin islands of the open plan, professional kitchen and the comfort of the fumoir cinema space. The contemporary feel of the ground floor is complemented by 18th century fireplaces and the ancient wine tanks. While the living areas of the main house are open plan for a wonderful social feel, there are also smaller salons and sitting areas for cosy, calm, self indulgent moments. With three open fires and underfloor heating, the house feels warm and inviting even during the autumn and winter months.
The kitchen has been designed for those who love to cook and those who love to be cooked for.
The ground floor and garden wing have direct access to the gardens, pool area, courtyard and tennis court.
The large windows and doors help to bring the outside in during the balmy summer days and evenings. The garden wing has a less formal sitting and games room (the salle des jeux); a luxurious, casual snug and play area to get away from the crowd.
