Great for families and larger parties wanting to travel together yet retain some independence, this Villa can be rented together with Muda-Comporta Villa II for 6, 8 or 12 guests, located only short walk away.
Slate, ceiling-to-floor glass windows and water are some of the stunning contemporary architectural features of this Villa. The property has an entrance hall and cloakroom; fully equipped kitchen, larder and an internal breakfast courtyard. A spacious dining room seating 12 opens onto an outdoor covered dining area whilst the spacious sitting room with open fire place opens onto an outdoor covered lounging area. Both these outdoor areas in turn expand into the pool terrace: the swimming pool has Roman steps. There is a second/children’s TV room opening onto the garden.
Two double bedrooms each with en-suite marble bathroom/separate shower open onto the rear side of the villa; and the other twin bedrooms (with extra child’s pull-out bed) each have an en-suite bathroom/separate shower and open onto the front lawn.
Pool and outdoor covered terraces are surrounded by a large and lush lawn area, bordered by a forest of pine and cork oak, offers guests a very relaxing stay in peaceful surroundings.
The Comporta region with its hippy chic atmosphere is located 1 hour south of Lisbon and is popular with artists and trend setters alike – those who come here (Christian Louboutin and the Casiraghi family amongst them), are attracted by its understated stylish atmosphere and fantastic weather. The rugged beaches here also seriously rival those of the Algarve in beauty, as well as having far fewer crowds.
There is plenty to do nearby, such as horse riding, wild dolphin watching on the Sado Estuary Nature Reserve or playing a round of golf; but this is an uncomplicated place for enjoying simple things and a slower pace of life, sampling the superb local gastronomy or sipping a sundowner during a stunning beach sunset. Or just relax by the pool of your villa and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
