Comporta Beach Villa totals 310 sq metres and is positioned on top of a sand dune facing west towards the setting sun as well as enjoying distant views of the Arrabida hills.
It has a panoramic roof top pool with a curving deck; whilst Praia do Pego is just a few minutes walk away, through lavender and rosemary-scented pine woods.
The main access to the beach runs immediately in front of the villa.


A luxury villa of contemporary design, the property offers 5 bedrooms (including a double bunk bedroom for children) and open plan areas for relaxed elegant living, built around a central courtyard set for outdoor dining.

It has floor-to-ceiling windows, with smooth stone, slatted wood features and attractive furniture setting the tone. Available all year round, it is fitted with a fireplace and has under floor heating throughout.

A private walkway around the villa is planted to either side with prairie flowers and there is also a children’s playground – all designed to blend in with the villa’s setting. The property enjoys a large decking, hosting a outdoor swimming pool and multiple cushions for lounging on in the sunshine.


The Comporta region located within the Sado Estuary Nature Reserve where the Sado river meets the ocean, has long been a favorite holiday resort of Portugal’s oldest families and has slowly also become known and loved by the international set, including a number of designers such as Christian Louboutin; due mainly to its simple charm and magical landscapes of rice fields and pine forests, thatched cottages and long un-spoilt golden sandy beaches.

There are a number of basic cafés, restaurants, supermarkets and small shops selling freshly caught fish and locally produced vegetables in the vicinity and within walking distance.

Pego beach is  is 400 metres away and Cavalhal beach and village is 3km away. Stylish Comporta is 14km away, which has a few clothes shops, restaurants and basic services. The nearest hyper marker is at Grandola, 28km away. Guests can play golf at the Troia Golf Course 30km away.

Staff & Dining

Housekeeping x 2 hours Monday to Friday (usually 10:30-12:30 hours) included in the rental; as well as garden and pool maintenance. Extra cleaning can be arranged on request. Babysitter and chef on request, as well as food shopping.

Things to Do

In the hot summer months there are parties galore hosted by hip beach clubs as well as a range of reasonably priced typical restaurants to choose from.  If you prefer a quieter holiday, book your vacation outside the summer season and enjoy long walks in somewhat cooler temperatures.

Nearby you can go horse riding or dolphin watching on the Sado estuary, and a new exclusive 18-hole golf course, has just opened in the area – Pinheirinho is run by the Hyatt Group and is located at a few kms distance from this rental villa.

Bicycles can be delivered to your door so guests can cycle to the beach and discover the exceptional surroundings.
