The interior of the property is tastefully decorated throughout, featuring old and new handcraft furnishings as well as comfortable easy chairs and sofas and a variety of original artwork. A traditional Mallorcan kitchen seating area around an open fireplace provides the ideal place to relax. Evergreen oak furniture, beamed ceilings, and white walls all combine harmoniously, creating a relaxed and comfortable environment.
The entrance hall leads to the left into an open living/dining and kitchen area, straight ahead is the loggia, courtyard and pool and on the right to the sitting/TV room. Large oak dining table in front of the open kitchen that seats 8-10 people with wood glass doors that open onto the front terrace. The large kitchen, with Corian worktops, is fully equipped with modern appliances.
The sitting room, on the right side of the entrance hall, has a Flat screen TV with Satellite, DVD Player, Music System (with Bose speakers), opens out onto the front terrace and rear loggia.
Upstairs there are four bedrooms: 1 master four-poster bed with en-suite hydro massage bath and terrace, 1 double (or twin) with en-suite shower room, both bedrooms face the village and sea, plus 1 twin with two singles with en-suite shower room. The fourth bedroom in an extra wing which has its own entrance from the courtyard which makes it independent from the rest of the house if one wishes. It has a king-size four poster bed with a flat screen TV on the wall, with a higher level study area with a broadband connection. The en-suite bathroom with freestanding bath is situated in a tower and has windows in all directions, giving panoramic views of the mountains. There is also a separate second study on the first floor also with ADSL connection.
Care and attention to detail are also apparent on the exterior of the property; a private pool sits next to lawn with an olive tree and a very private garden stocked with palm, olive, fruit and cypress trees, bougainvillaeas and climbers.
There are various places to enjoy al fresco dining; the back loggia is ideal for breakfast, the pool area is ideal for lunch enjoying the shade of the pergola, and the privacy of the garden. The wisteria covered pergola on the front terrace is perfect for evening drinks or dinner whilst enjoying the wonderful views of Deia village and the sea.
The centre of Deia village is just a short walk away, with its numerous restaurants, bars and boutiques.
