With plenty of natural light, this unique self-catering can also be rented in conjunction with Sibton Park and Sibton Clockhouse.

Inside

Entering through the left lodge into the entrance hall at ground level, this room has two armchairs, a coffee table and fabulous views across the grounds. A winding staircase leads you down into the main Gate Lodge space. Tucked neatly under the stairs is the kitchen area leaving you lots of room to entertain.

To the left is the main living and dining space. The reception room offers dining space for up to eight guests and has french doors leading out onto a private patio area. The spacious living area has an open fire, two sofas and two armchairs. Through the door on the right is a corridor leading to a family sized bath room.

Bedrooms

1 bedroom. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, flat-screen television and stunning harlequin sideboard; an additional en-suite bathroom is just off this room complete with steam room and bath.

Outside

Set in 500 acres of landscape with direct access to scenic parkland, woodland rides and water meadows. Redwood and Cedar of Lebanon create intimacy, framing views of Yox valley and St. Peter’s Church, Sibton. A network of footpaths and lanes lead from the park through to Yox valley and across into the adjacent Blythe and Alde Valleys. A lake and park lay to the south of the estate.

For those who love cultural events, The Aldeburgh International Music Festival and Cut theatre in Halesworth are both near by.

Renowned family friendly Music Festivals include the Latitude Festival at Henham and the Maverick Festival at Easton Farm Park are nearby.

Children’s events are staged throughout the year at Easton

English Heritage put on a wide variety of interactive family days at Orford, Framlingham Castle and Sutton Hoo

Nearby Heveningham Hall holds the annual Country Fair in July and a Fireworks spectacular in November.

The International Music Festival at Aldeburgh is only 9 Miles away as are the attractions of Southwold and Walberswick
