Well-maintaned garden with far reaching views, deep pool, mulitple relaxation areas and pool-house with built in barbeque, independent kitchen and newly built shower room. Surround sound system with two micrphones, far enough from the main house so that the noise is isolated.
Large main kitchen and back kitchen with a large stone fireplace that can double as a barbeque, an antique pine table with extension seating 16 and a French Château Cornue cooker. Spacious dining room and two comfortable drawing rooms with fireplaces. One of the drawing rooms converts into a cinema room with surround sound speakers; this system and the wifi extends throughout the house, the bérgerie, and down to the swimming pool.
Live-in couple onsite who take care of daily cleaning and gardening/pool maintenace. Chef can be arranged on request.
The main house sleeps 16, the adjoining bérgerie sleeps 6.
There are 7 bathrooms in the main house, 6 of which are ensuite, the other two rooms (twins) share a bathroom. The bérgerie has its own bathroom.

The history of Domaine de Carcassonne is closely tied to its horses. Even today the stables are home and safe haven for two retired horses. The house can organise treks and lessons with a horse-whisperer from the nearby village (7 mins), a unique and wonderful experience for all abilities. Please enquire for more information.

The beach at Lake Cavayère is only a 14 minute drive from the house. Just next door there is the Aquaviva Waterpark, a day out perfect for children and adults alike, as well as the Acrobatic Forest Route at the O2 Adventure park 15 minutes from the house.
