Set on the edge of the Cotswolds between Witney and Charlbury, Leafield has an active village population, with various community based activities that thrive there such as the woodland and gym projects, gardening club and baby and toddler group.

Village amenities including the Leafield Village Community Shop, 2 public houses and, of particular note, is the church of Saint Michael and All Angels, which was designed in 1859 by Sir George Gilbert Scott, the leading architect of the Gothic Revival.

The thriving market towns of Witney, Burford and Chipping Norton provide a wider array of shopping facilities.
