Lying in front of the property stretches out a Jardin a la Francaise, full of luscious greenery and fragrant herbs, an impressive fountain and a 25 m swimming pool with cabana loungers to relax on. Additionally, there are terraces at different levels, one of them offering a magnificent sunset over the rolling Minorca hills, the perfect place for an aperitif.
The ground floor exudes a very Menorcan atmosphere with vaulted ceilings and white washed walls. The first floor has a strong personality featuring a rich palette of colours. The second floor is discrete and minimalistic, an ideal retreat from the rest of the house. What unites the different styles of Es Bec d’Aguila is that each room is a unique creation adorned with richly coloured authentic tiles, the use of native materials such as marés stone, white lime, masonry furniture or terracotta and hydraulic floors. The Finca features several lounge spaces, an airy kitchen, a sophisticated bar, and a library with card game table.
The chefs & farmers at Es Bec d’Aaguila work to ensure an abundant flow of fresh organic fruits, vegetables, herbs, fresh eggs and honey (grown on site) to seek inspiration from seasonal and local produce to make a bespoke menu for you and your group. Breakfast is laid out buffet style in the kitchen. Lunches are often served at the outside covered terrace, featuring pool side drinks followed by a local speciality or grilled dish, home made ice-creams and chilled wine. Elegant dinners are served on the large marble table beneath the stars. There is also an outside kitchen area, the ideal setting for barbecues and local specialities. If you have planned to go out on the boat for the day or to the beach, a picnic can be prepared for the occasion.
Es Bec d’Aguila features eleven en-suite bedrooms total. Each bedroom varies in size. All are outfitted with a king sized beds and luxurious linen sheets. One of the bedrooms on the ground floor has been built with full accessibility for guests with reduced mobility.
