A kitchen vegetable garden produces a variety of vegetables, fruits, and herbs, complemented by olive oil from surrounding groves. The garden is adorned with roses, lemons, lavender, and fig trees, set against a picturesque backdrop of cypresses, olive trees, and vineyards.
Casa Nova maintains a natural ambiance in its interior, featuring only natural materials and neutral colors following a thoughtful renovation by the owners. The expansive living room boasts a large fireplace and inviting sofas, while the TV room offers a smart TV and a cosy cushioned sitting area. Additionally, there’s an upstairs sitting room for added relaxation.
A lovely live-in couple manage the house, handling cooking, housekeeping, restaurant bookings, food shopping, taxis, and airport transfers. Multiple dining areas include an indoor room for cosy gatherings (seats 8), an outdoor space with a wood-fired pizza oven, BBQ grill, and bar (seats 16 by candlelight), and a shaded area for breakfast and lunch (seats 10). The full-time staff tends to the vegetable garden, providing a farm-to-table dining experience with Annie’s exceptional cooking, rivalling Michelin star restaurants.
Casa Nova can sleep a ten people in the summer and eight people in the winter. It has seven generous rooms, six of which are doubles and one is single. The main house has five Bedrooms – four doubles and one single. There are also two studio suite outbuildings, perfect for couples who want a little bit of privacy. One building has a master double bed and the other has a set of twin beds. All bedrooms have Air Conditioning Units and WIFI throughout.
The main house has four ensuite bathrooms. The outbuildings both have ensuite bathrooms. All bathrooms feature 100% cotton towels and bathrobes, Ortigia bath products and local artisanal Soaps.
