Koúkos sits on a hilltop above the gentle bustle of the north-east coast of Corfu, with commanding and uninterrupted views of Albania and its dramatic mountains, down to the Ionian Sea, framed by a peaceful wooded valley. The gardens themselves are set within the house’s own hillside olive grove. Central to the outside space is a huge and dramatic infinity pool that shares the far-reaching hilltop views and offers a shallow bathing platform.
The main house flows effortlessly through large open plan areas, but with smaller peaceful adjoining rooms in which guests can hide away and relax.
The house offers a range of wonderful outside lounging and dining areas, with plenty of space for large groups, but also huge scope for individual guests or smaller parties to break away to find their own secluded spots. There are 4 staff in house, including 2 housekeepers, and in peak summer only, a chef, driver, waiter and butler.
Koúkos has seven double bedrooms, each styled with comfortable sophistication and each with its own luxurious bathroom. The configuration of the Cottage and Studio Bedroom, which directly adjoin the house, give huge flexibility to the accommodation.
