Leigh Upon Mendip boasts extensive gardens where the bronze statue by Anthony Gormley stands like a guardian of the house amongst cloud shaped topiary.
Downstairs there is a sitting/music room with piano and large glass doors opening out onto the garden. Additonally, there is a drawing room, study, TV den, sitting room, kitchen/dining room large cinema, games room, pizza oven. The sitting room has an original open fireplace and woodburning stove, ‘secret’ staircase to the 1st floor.
Well-equipped, open plan kitchen and dining area to seat 10 people with beautiful french doors leading outside onto the courtyard.
On the 1st floor, there are 4 double bedrooms and a Twin bedroom with truckle beds (can sleep 4 children in total). In the Guest House there are 2 double ensuite bedrooms. One of which has an open fireplace, free-standing bath, and en suite shower room. The house sleeps 12 plus 6 children.
The master double bedroom has a free-standing copper bath tub, open fireplace, walk through wardrobe and double shower room. In addition to this there is a shared bathroom on the first floor.
