Originally built in 1914 as a passenger ferry by the Fairfield Shipping Co. in Glasgow, Halas 71 is one of the most precious historical treasures of Istanbul.

Due to World War I, it was renamed “Waterwitch” and served as a Royal Fleet Auxiliary in Gallipoli. After the war, it served as a messenger for British ships in Istanbul and was later renamed Halas, meaning deliverance, to serve as a passenger ferry in the Bosphorus for 65 years.

Today, Halas is a luxurious coastal cruiser with 12 cabins, offering exquisite service and the perfect choice for memorable events.
