Due to World War I, it was renamed “Waterwitch” and served as a Royal Fleet Auxiliary in Gallipoli. After the war, it served as a messenger for British ships in Istanbul and was later renamed Halas, meaning deliverance, to serve as a passenger ferry in the Bosphorus for 65 years.

Halas boasts a magnificent teak upper deck, perfect for socialising and entertaining. This expansive area features ample sunbathing space, a 42-person covered alfresco dining area, a full wet bar with seating, comfortable sun pads, and breathtaking views.
Boasting an impressive interior layout with fabulous entertainment venue, Halas offers a spacious lounge with a gleaming brass wrapped bar, comfortable sitting room complete with a large TV, as well as a cosy library for those seeking a quiet moment with a book. The social areas are flanked by large windows allowing for optimum viewing and ample natural light. Throughout the yacht and on the deck, guests can enjoy the convenience of Wi-Fi.
The indoor dining room, capable of seating up to 60 guests and a further dining space seating up to 24. Halas is staffed by an incredible team of 16 crew members per week, including a chef/cook and waitstaff to cater to guests’ dining needs. The yacht’s housekeeping and house manager ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience. To keep the yacht impeccably clean, the cleaning service operates twice daily, with a morning and evening clean. Linens are refreshed every three days as well as on request.
Halas boasts 12 cabins that can comfortably accommodate 24 guests. Each decorated with elegant fabrics and Haremlique linens and towels from Istanbul. The spacious 43 m2 owner’s suite features a separate sitting room, dressing room, and en-suite bathroom. Additionally, the yacht has two 20 m2 junior suites, two 19 m2 executive cabins, three 17 m2 superior cabins, and four 12 m2 deluxe cabins. The cabins are located on two different levels for guest convenience: three on the top deck, five on the lower deck, and four at the lower deck aft. With a rich history of hosting VIPs, including royalty and heads of state, HALAS 71 promises a truly memorable experience.
Halas features twelve bathrooms each featuring a shower.
Guests can enjoy a variety of tenders and toys, including two inflatable tenders with 150 HP and 200 HP Yamaha engines, a canoe for three people, two paddleboards, and two water bikes. The yacht also provides an array of water sports equipment, including two Seabobs, an Awake Ravik Electric Surfboard, water skiing gear for both adults and children, a wakeboard, a kneeboard, and a Mable.
