The Palazzo, which dates back to the 15th century as a castle, is a historic property situated at an altitude of 2,000 feet, providing a refreshing escape from the scorching heat of an Italian summer. The Marchese Cavalletti owned the estate in the early 20th century, before being purchased In the 1940s by Signor Parisi, the father of renowned landscape designer, Arabella Lennox-Boyd. Her mother was the daughter of Armando Diaz, Duca della Vittoria, who served as the Commander in Chief of the Italian army during the First World War, and many of his family’s cherished objects are on display throughout the house. The Palazzo is conveniently located, just over 30 miles from the center of Rome, and can be easily accessed from both of the city’s international airports, with a travel time of 90 minutes from Fiumicino airport (100kms) and 80 minutes from Ciampino airport (85kms).
