The farmhouse is surrounded by a large walled garden, designed by six-times Chelsea Flower Show gold medallist Bunny Guinness, with a fire pit, a hammockry and a boules court, the house has been designed for supremely comfortable get-togethers and lazy country weekends.
The house is filled with sumptuous velvets, antique furniture and lots of quirky details in a contemporary, refreshing take on English country design. There is a richly decorated drawing room with open fires, perfect for pre-dinner drinks, as well as a snug for hiding away with a good book or movie.
The enormous state-of-the-art kitchen, with its huge sliding windows on two sides, is casual and relaxed for delicious meals for up to 22 people, whilst the grand, double-height dining room is a glorious setting for formal dinners and smart celebrations.
Each bedroom is unique and each has its own intrinsic charm, whether located under the eaves, or overlooking the endless fields surrounding the property.
All bedrooms have a beautiful ensuite bathroom.
