Organic orchards, vegetable gardens and fresh eggs are available and the estate has extensive olive groves and a vineyard for gentle walks. The property makes its own organic olive oil. There is a magnesium mineral water infinity pool, nestled within the rolling Chianti coutryside surrounded by a lush garden full of fresh herbs and lavender. There is also a hot tub outside the pool lounge. There is a changing room and shower in the pool house as well as a minibar with fridge.
The interiors have been designed and furnished with a mix of contemporary and antique furniture in keeping with the style of the restoration. There are 6 large air-conditioned double bedrooms, each with its own fully renovated bathroom with large walk-in rain showers (3 have bathtubs as well). All bedrooms have sitting areas for quiet rests or simply relaxing into the pleasure of curling up with a book. The living rooms are comfortably furnished with plenty of soft cushy sofas for resting out of the sun, there is a media room with a large sofa and theatre seats, and a large sun filled chef’s kitchen for cooking classes or pizza parties. There are endless places to eat, from the inner courtyard to under the majestic oak tree or near the pool. The manager lives on site in separate accommodation, available 24/7 The caretaker/gardener is on the property daily Housekeeping is provided for 6 hours/day (2 housekeepers). Additional hours are available at extra charge A welcome dinner is left as complimentary for tired international travellers.

There are several Michelin star restaurants within a short drive of the property. There is the world renowned butcher/restaurant (Dario Cecchini) in the nearby village.
As the house is located in the middle of the Chianti Classico, you will find a wide choice of wineries where you can stop for wine tasting. Most of the wines in the region are organic. Some, but not all of them require a reservation. Please check with us and we will be happy to arrange this for you. We also have good relationships with several local vineyards and we are happy to arrange private tours and tastings for you. These must be arranged in advance.
Vespa rentals and bike riding are very popular here with lots of wonderful towns and restaurants within easy distance.
Weekly Saturday market in Greve, and Sunday market in Panzano. On the third Sunday of every month in Greve, there is an artisan/craft market. There are many lovely local walks and other activities, such as tennis nearby, cycling, visits to the local vineyards that can be organised.
