In 2016/17 the current owners undertook a major renovation of the property, upgrading the original 1845 turreted construction as well as adding the new and modern extra wing, which was a conversion of some old outbuildings situated beside the main house. You can walk from the house, and about half a mile away is a private picnic spot wuth a fire pit in the heart of the farm.
The property has big, open-plan sitting room and kitchen. The idea of moving the 'heart of the house' into the new modern wing was to create more space and to bring the garden area into much more use. However, the original dining room and drawing room do still get used on more formal occasions.
There is a formal dining room as well as seating for 10 around the kitchen table. The contemporary glazed link can also double up as a rather fun dining area. A Chef and staff can be made avaliable on request.
The available accommodation consists of a principle guest wing of 3 bedrooms (all en-suite), one of which can be made as a twin or as a double. Above this ground floor guest wing is an open plan flat in the eaves of the roof, with a bedroom (with 1 double and 1 single bed) and bathroom. There is also another double bedroom and a children's room (set as a bunk bed) with two bathrooms available in the original house.
All three bedrooms in the guest wing are ensuite. There are a total of 6 bathrooms at the property.
Within reach of Warren Farm is a range of magical beaches and seaside villages and small towns, ranging from Hunstanton in the West, then moving East there is Holme-next-the-sea, Thornham, Brancaster, Burnham-Overy-Staithe, Holkham and Wells-next-the-Sea. Holkham is favoured for its sheer size, it is a vast expanse of open beach.
All of these places have tremendous pubs and attractions, whether it be the Victoria Arms at Holkham, The Orange Tree Inn at Thornham, or the famed ”Eric’s Fish & Chips”, also in Thornham. Closer to home, and a good walk (circa 4 miles) is the Bedingfield Arms at Oxburgh, situated a stone’s throw from Oxburgh Hall, a local landmark famous house. Other great pubs which are in land are the Dabbling Duck in Gt Massingham, and The Brisley Bell at Brisley.
